I haven't blogged in so long!

Lots has happened at TNS.

Amandajean has showed up to school four times since she got accepted.

Robotics is now all systems go. Competition's only a month and a half away, but even so I think we're doing quite well. Everyday the team stay after school for a few hours [and by the team I mean only the cool peeps like Will, Cody, Gordy, Ross, and myself (plus the not so cool Rhiannon and Josh)]. Yesterday we had a good five minute conversation of Josh jokes comparing him to a robot. It was great. :)

New Kid's Class is now only an hour on Wednesday mornings, then I have photography for the rest of the day. It's wicked awesome, we've been wearing white and having slides projected onto ourselves and people taking pictures. I had to share a camera with Gordy last time and because of that Haley and Gordy got in a huge fight. :/ That's pretty much the only drama that's happened since Marylyn found the bong piece in Haley's bag a couple months ago.

Speaking of which, the kid who Haley says put the piece in her bag is Chris, who now goes to the school. He amounts to being almost the exact same person as Coalton, except slightly more intelligent. There are lots of funny stories involving the guy. haha I think he likes Jade, because he vaguely said "I asked her...she's such a confusing person!" and then Devin came by and he said he'd tell me later. But Jade is so awesome!!! I miss her, I haven't seen her since Tuesday! :(

On Thursday our public policy class went to Augusta. It was awesome! We had Representative Jane Eberlee (who's son graduated from TNS a couple years ago) showing us around and introducing us to a bunch of people like all of our representatives and senators, speaker of the house (Chellie Pingree's daughter Hannah, whom Zeb could not stop talking about yesterday. "She's so attractive!!"), and even the govnah John Baldacci. It was a lot of fun. The House was pretty informal, they had this freshman from a local high school jamming out the the national anthem on his electric guitar. We missed the Senate, but got a bunch of pictures anyway with this guy who wouldn't leave Zach alone. haha then later when we were in the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife committee they were all wicked chill! They were cracking jokes, and the leader had no tie, his shirt unbuttoned and rolled up, and a gold chain around his neck. It was awesome!

On the way back from Augusta we stopped at an agricultural fest and I got a brochure for the Maine Cheese Guild. Possibly one of the most epic names EVAR. On the table when you first walk in they had little bags with free samples of seaweed meal that looked just like pot. I saw Zeb run over to the table only to look disappointed a few seconds later. haha

Ballroom Dancing...hahahaha Coalton's ADHD never ceases to amuse me. He makes Josh look like Einstein next to him. (and that's really saying something). We're starting to learn Salsa. It's a lot of fun, and during the breaks Chris and Coalton make you tear up with laughter because they're so funny. So many good times...

Marylyn is still Marylyn. She signed the food class up for going to Augusta to prove that we're actually doing something with the local foods din-din. And in February the public policy class is going back to the state house...TOO MUCH AUGUSTA. In Food we've been watching movies because Marylyn's doing her job for once and has a bunch of meetings. So far we've watched The Botany of Desire, King Corn, and Food, Inc. They're all wicked good, and even though I'd rather be doing something in class than just watching something, I'm glad that we got to see these. They're all very enlightening. And for some reason Michael Pollan shows up in every one. haha

Creative Writing has gone down the drain. I missed a class when I went to New York, then Christine was sick (she's the teacher), I missed a class when we traveled to Augusta, then our next class in canceled because of MLK juniah day. I'm not even bothering to catch up, it's too complicated haha.

ASL has been wicked fun since Chris joined. Coalton will try to sign something to him and get it wrong, then be confused because Roland (the teacher) is asking him something and randomly say the only words he knows, which never make any sense. haha Yesterday was kind of awkward, though, because Chris was absent, Coalton had to be picked up early because there was a fire at the place his ride works, and Will's family was skiing (he invited me to go, but I'm such a bad skier that I had to decline), so it was just me and Roland. Then backpack boy came so it was alright, but for the first few minutes it was just me and Roland's really loud, wheezy breathing. He's still sick. Poor guy. :(

I can't think of anything else for the moment, except that tonight's the Chili and Chowder din-din for TNS at the Unitarian Church. I'm bringing vegan, gluten-free cookies and cleaning up. I think Noah, Jade, and Princess Sara will be cleaning up too, so it's okay. :)

Have a lovely three day weekend everybody!
